(iii) Both this and the next "Canon del Agnus, alio modo" are based on the same materials: (1) the last six notes of the Bassus in the previous Agnus Dei section (2) the opening of the Cantus from the Christe section. (iv) Repeat marks at either the beginning or end of each part, suggesting a circle canon. (v) Kyrie 2 motive in Cantus (non-canonic voice) on text "Semper laus Deo". |
